Our 6 Year Anniversary and Paisley's 6 Month Review

Yesterday was a day for the 6's. It was Ryan's and mine 6 year anniversary as well as Paisley turned 6 months. For our anniversary we went to the temple and did sealings and then we went to dinner. Ryan and I decided we are going to do sealings every year for our anniversary because it was really a neat experience to kneel across from each other and remember the covenants we made to each other 6 years ago. Grandma Jeanne and Papa Bob were very nice and watched Paisley for us. Grandma Jeanne gave her a graham cracker and milk and Paisley loved it.

                                                        Paisley's 6 month review:

Here are a couple things we have noticed about Paisley since her 3 month review.

1. She now can roll over to both sides
2. She can sit up
3. She eats solids (even the occasional french fry and diet coke)

4. She jumps in her jumper
5. She can roll towards her toys if they are out of reach
6. She smiles all the time at everyone
7. She giggles
8. She pets raja and mogley (and sometimes grabs there fur and pulls) :)
9. She has the nickname "Venus Fly Trap" because if you get your hands close to hers, she grabs them and doesn't let go.

10. Shes starting to figure out the general idea of crawling thanks to daddy
11. She rubs her eyes when she is tired
12. Still hates her carseat :)
13. Slowly but surely she is starting to sleep through the night
14. She knows her name
15. Loves getting a bath and her diaper changed
16. Likes to hold peoples fingers
17. Likes to be sung to.
18. Does not know the meaning of sleeping in and why its so important to mommy
19. She likes to grab and eat her toes

Peek-A-Boo I See You....

Paisely has started this fun little thing when she wakes up from her naps where she props herself up in the bassinet and tries to look out and see if anyone is there.

It is so funny. She starts making noises to get my attention and then I will walk around the corner and see her proped up and looking around to see if I am coming to get her. When she does see us she gets all excited and forgets how to balance herself and face plants it and then props herself up again. She is so cute!!

Sleding with the Kimotos

The family I used to nanny for came up to our cabin to go sleding. It was so much fun. Ryan was really nice and went down the hill with the kids while I held Paisley and took pictures.

Afterwards they decided to have a snowball fight and they built forts. This is Ryans and Krus awesome snow castle.

It has finally stopped snowing and it is actually starting to melt. It was fun while it lasted. :)

Watch out Willy Wonka...Theres a New Chocolatier in Town!

For our stake womens conference this year our theme was "Come What May and Love It". So we  as the stake relief society presidency decided that for our favor to the sisters this year we would give out a little box of chocolate truffels with the saying "Life is like a box of chocolates...Come What May and Love It". Over the holiday season I learned how to make chocolate truffels, so I took on the assignment of making 600 truffels.

With Ryans help, it took about 4 days total to make 600 truffels, assemble the boxes, and to tie the ribbon with the saying on it. The womens conference turned out amazing. We had a great turn out and everybody loved my truffels. :)
