What Have We Been Up To?????

Wow, we have been a busy family this last month. It first started out with Uncle Shaun coming to visit us. We love it when he comes. Paisley was really excited that he was there. Shaun was really nice and let Paisley wear his hat.
We decided that since we had lived on Mt Charleston for about 3 years, that we should finally hike Cathedral Rock. It was a pretty fun hike considering it was a hike. There were some pretty steep parts and the people coming down from the hike kept telling us that we were not even close to the top, but we ventured on and finally made it. This is Cathedral Rock from the bottom.
This is about half way up.
What a stud! :)
This is our child abuse picture. For the record we did not make her climb the big sharp rocks with no shoes on. Ry just put her down so I could take her picture.
The top of Cathedral Rock!
Ok so about 2 days after Shaun left, we drove down to Arizona to celebrate Paisley's birthday as well as all the September birthdays in the Mormann family. Paisley got spoiled rotten by her Grandma, Uncles and Aunts. She got really cute clothes, toys and books. Grandma Mormann got her these fun blocks and she loved to destroy any tower that anybody built out of them. Seconds later, this tower was no longer. This is her look of "should I knock it down fast with my hands or should I just run into it?". :)

We just love those blue eyes!!
Miss Troublemaker getting into Aunt Melanies bathroom stuff. Sorry Melanie!
The next thing that happened is Ryan celebrated his 29th birthday!! Paisley and I took him to one of his favorite Italian restaurants called Buca Di Beppo. It was yummy!! Here is Ryan digging in to his dessert.
I decided since I made Paisley a monkey cake for her birthday, that I should make Ryan a lego cake because he LOVES legos.
The next fun thing we did is we drove up to Midway Utah with my parents. For those of you who don't know where Midway is, it is about 30 mins from Provo up Provo Canyon. Its about 15 minutes from Parkcity. Midway is a small town and is famous for celebrating Swiss Days. So the whole town is year round decorated like a small swiss town. President Monson even has a house there. This is the view from the top of the mountain that seperates Parkcity from Midway and Heber. If you look close enough you can see the town of Midway.
The drive up, over and down the mountain from Park City to Midway was BEAUTIFUL!! The leaves were just starting to turn. We could not have asked for a more perfect day for our scenic drive.
I really love this picture because in the middle of thousands of quakies, is this lonely pine tree. The pine tree is either in some serious denial about what it is ("maybe if I just pretend I'm a quakie, I will be one") or he made a left when he should of made a right at the stop sign or he just likes hanging around quakies. Whatever the reason, it was a picture perfect moment for me.
This is the huge lake that goes right up to Heber and Midway. When we were there, there were people water skiing and jet skiing. Jealous!!
Here are some of the swiss looking houses in Midway.
Even the Mormon church was swiss looking.
Here is President Monson's house. What I loved most about his house was how small and humble it was. Friends of ours that live in Midway say that from time to time they see President Monson out mowing his lawn when he is in town. How cool would that be to see??  :)
While we were driving around, we found a cute park and Paisley went swinging for the first time.
Swinging with Grandma Jeanne.

I don't know if you can see it or not in this picture, but Paisley, over the last week or so, has devolped this really bad rash all over her body (especially on her face). It doesn't seem to bother her at all, she is still the happy little girl she always is. We took her to the dr when we got back from Midway and they think its an allergy rash. So we started down of list of possible allergies she could have and we are now thinking that Paisley is allergic to milk (dairy). So we put her on soy milk yesterday and as of today we are seeing a slight change in the rash. :)
Ok, back to Miday... while at the park we also found a fun slide to go down.
These sunflowers were growing up and around a stop sign.
So the last thing that we have been up to besides school, school and more school is we moved off the mountain to an apartment that is closer to Ryan's work and both of our schools. We are still in the moving process, so I will post pictures of the apartment in a later blog after we get settled in. One thing I love about the location of this apt, is that there are a lot of places for Pasiley and I to go on walks to. Today we went on a walk to Target and to the Halloween store to try on some costumes. Here is Paisley in her cool stroller all excited for our adventure.
This is NOT, I repeat NOT the costume she is going to be for Halloween, but I wanted to post this picture because it was so funny/cute on her. It said it was for 12 months, but for some reason she was swimming in it. :) I couldn't get her to look at the camera because there was so much going on in the store. This costume is called "Tulip Fairy".
We were able to find her a really cute Tinkerbelle costume. She is going to be soooo cute. And that about sums up what we have been doing.
